A swim in the river followed by a picnic lunch was the order of the day. We then returned to the course, only to learn that Earl Davey-Milne had noises in his Alvis Type and wouldn’t be competing.

Lex Davison

Many a cow in the district calved earlier than expected when the blower was engaged. No shrinking violet was this man Lex Davison and his equally as exciting Vauxhall 30-98.
